DC vs Heller. 5-4 Heller

Supreme court rules in favor of Heller 5-4 with Scalia writing the majority opinion.

Held:

1. The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home.

This is a great day for the United States and the Constitution. A 6-3 or 7-2 decision would have been much better but at least it wasn't 5-4 for DC

Here is the decision...all 157 pages of it

Gun Facts - Heller media brief

The guys over at GunFacts.info have put together a 18 page PDF file on the DC vs Heller SCOTUS case.

I haven't read it yet but if it's anything like their Gun Facts EBook it will be easy to read, concise, and in FAQ format (question and answer, or myth and fact).

Here is the link: Media Briefing Book on DC vs Heller. And yes it is also free.
